It's late at night, I'm lazy, I'm hungry, and open establishments are a scant few. This particular Wendy's location is the newest in the area and the drive-through is open until 2am. Now, I've been screwed over at so many drive-throughs in my lifetime, it's a wonder how I don't currently suffer from some type of PTSD. No matter where I go, what time it is, or how clearly I speak when I order ("with NO PICKLESSSS")....nothing ever comes out 100% right. Sometimes I think it's a curse. Then again, I'm sure a lot of you out there can fully relate to what I'm saying. Yet....we keep going back, right? We keep going back because It's cheap, it's convenient, and they continuously lure us in with guarantees of "quality and freshness." That being said, let's get started.
My order was simple enough. The $5 Biggie Bag comes with a Bacon Double Stack Burger (I order no pickles or onions), 4 piece Chicken Nuggets, Small Fries and Small Drink ( I upgrade to medium size for $1 more). I quickly checked to see that everything was there, and as I pulled away, I did the fry test. You know...when you grab a couple of fries out of the bag and give them a taste test to make sure their fresh? It's a shame we have to do that, but necessary, I'm afraid. On this occasion, I lucked out....fries were hot and not too heavily salted. Hallelujah it's a miracle. I arrived home shortly after, and, with a sigh of relief, found no trace of pickles or onions on my burger. On the other hand, it didn't look halfway as enticing as the picture on the menu....but that's everywhere you go. The chicken nuggets were barely lukewarm, so I ate one and chucked the rest.
Service is always a crapshoot at the drive-through. This time everything played out well, and although I was behind the soccer mom that wanted 20 different 4 for $4 deals, I was out in a flash. My advice? It's a chain. Quality and freshness is practically a myth so keep your expectations low. Thanks for reading, stay hungry, and till next time...SYOY! -

Don't bother going to this Wendy's. You'd think that since it's rather new that it would move smoothly, but no. They have to be the slowest people on earth and have gotten my order wrong 4 separate times that I've gone there. I don't eat pork and I order the same thing EVERY TIME. I have ordered 4 for $4 with a double stack and each and every time they have given me a bacon cheeseburger. I can understand one mistake, but I don't understand how you can get four separate orders wrong on four separate days. I was so happy when the opened a Wendy's near my house, but I hate this location. The absolute worst.

Yea so it's 150am i saw someone inside as i pulled up. But no one answered the drive thru and they hid when i drove past the windows. I don't like to wish ill on others, but I hope people like that when they need something, the place they are going to "closes" before their advertised closing time and then stands there and looks at them with shoulders shrugged...
